Just an update...We are still finalizing the data. I don’t have a release date yet, but getting closer.

Yes, apparently data can sometimes be hard to "finalize," even if you've already had six months to do it. 

If, as we suspect, the numbers are down from last year, the MTA's problem is about how to present/spin the report, not with the numbers themselves. That's what "finalizing" means in this context.
